You can use Starlink everywhere in Belgium. The maximum internet speed depends on your location. Since Starlink uses a satellite connection, apart from subscribing to one of the offers, you also need to buy the installation kit.

Installation Starlink

You also need to buy an installation kit when you subscribe to an offer of Starlink, which you would need to install yourself or for which you need to hire someone. You have the choice between two installation kits: the Standard kit and the Mini kit. The Starlink Standard kit costs 349,00€. The Starlink Mini kit costs 399,00€.

After ordering the kits, you will receive the materials within one to two weeks.

Alternatives Starlink

Starlink isn't the only telecom provider in Belgium that offers internet through a satellite connection. Orange, one of the biggest providers, also offers a satellite offer, as does skyDSL. Orange's satellite offer costs 0,00€ per month and skyDSL is available from  0,00€ per month.

Broadband through a satellite connection is a good solution for households who cannot have a fixed broadband connection at home. However, broadband with a satellite connection is not the only option. Both Orange and TADAAM also offer broadband through mobile internet, which uses the 4G networks of respectively Orange and BASE / Telenet.

You can take out a Starlink subscription yourself through the Starlink website. Make sure that you select Belgium for the right prices, whose website is only available in Dutch, French or German. You can place your order by clicking on "Order now". You will then be sent to the ordering process.

Cancelling a Starlink Contract

Starlink offers a trial period of thirty days. If you are unhappy with your Starlink subscription, you can send back all your materials within thirty days, after which you will get your money back. If you stay a customer for a longer period of time, you can cancel Starlink by going to your account and cancel your subscription.

Moving a Starlink Contract

In case of a move, it is important that you change the address in your Starlink account. Do not forget to take all the materials with you to your new place, where you can either install everything yourself, or hire someone to take care of the installation.
