Who is Mega Energy?
Since the liberalisation of the energy market in Belgium in 2003, consumers are free to switch providers. As a result, a lot of new providers have been added. Founded in 2014, Mega is one of the newest players in the energy market.
Mega wants to work more efficiently than the competition with a modest team of employees and does everything it can to keep its profit margins low — the profit goes directly to satisfied Mega customers. According to them, a supplier should only focus on the main mission: supplying electricity and natural gas at the lowest possible price, in a correct, simple and environmentally friendly manner. Thanks to this attitude, Mega succeeds in offering very competitive rates on the Belgian market for private individuals and professionals.

Mega has grown very quickly in recent years. In the first quarter of 2023, Mega had a market share in Flanders of 3.15% on the electricity market and 3.16% on the gas market. This makes Mega the fifth largest energy supplier in Belgium.
