BASE is a Belgian telecom brand that is part of the Telenet Group. It uses the Telenet mobile network for its mobile plans and prepaid cards, with the same 4G and 5G coverage Telenet customers receive. For fixed broadband and TV, BASE relies on the cable infrastructure of Telenet in Flanders and VOO in Wallonia and Brussels.
BASE positions itself as an affordable challenger with bundled packs, a strong shop network, and a long-running prepaid offer popular with visitors and seasonal users. Fibre-to-the-home is not yet part of the BASE catalogue.
BASE network and coverage
BASE rides on the Telenet mobile network, so 4G and 5G coverage is essentially identical to Telenet. Fibre-to-the-home is not yet available with BASE.
