Who is Bolt Energie?
Bolt Energie is a Belgian energy supplier active since 2018. Its identity is built around one idea: supplying 100% green electricity generated by local Belgian producers of wind and solar power, rather than anonymous green power bought on the wholesale market. Every kilowatt-hour is backed by guarantees of origin (GO).
What makes Bolt distinctive is that it links each customer to a specific local producer. Through the customer portal you can see exactly which wind or solar producer supplies your electricity — a level of transparency that is unusual on the Belgian market. Bolt also supplies natural gas, so electricity and gas can be combined in a single dual contract.

Bolt Energie contracts and tariffs
Bolt offers three tariff formulas for both electricity and gas, so you can choose between price certainty, market indexation or hourly pricing. Every contract has a one-month notice period with no early-termination fee.
Bolt Vast (fixed)
A fixed price per kWh for a 1-year term — price certainty regardless of what the market does.
Bolt Variabel (variable)
A price that is indexed monthly to the wholesale market, for an indefinite term.
Bolt Dynamisch (dynamic)
An hourly price that follows the wholesale market — ideal if you can shift your consumption. Requires a digital meter.

Report a power cut or gas leak
In the event of a power cut or gas leak you always contact your grid operator, not your supplier — they are reachable 24/7:
- Flanders — Fluvius: 078 35 35 00;
- Wallonia — ORES: 078 78 78 00 (or Resa, depending on your municipality);
- Brussels — Sibelga: 02 274 40 66.
Bolt online and postal address
Most day-to-day tasks are handled through the My Bolt Energie customer portal — updating your personal details, viewing invoices, submitting meter readings and reporting a move. Bolt prefers digital contact; for a formal postal address (for example to send an official takeover or cancellation document), request the correct address from customer service first. All the latest details are on boltenergie.be.
