skyDSL is a German satellite internet provider that delivers connectivity via the Eutelsat KA-SAT satellite. The service is available everywhere in Belgium, including remote areas where no DSL or fibre line exists, and is aimed at households, businesses and holiday homes off the beaten broadband track.
To use skyDSL you need a satellite dish and modem with line of sight to the southern sky. Speeds and prices vary by plan, with bundles aimed at light browsers all the way through to higher-volume professional users.
skyDSL network and coverage
skyDSL delivers internet via satellite, not via cable or fibre. The signal is provided by the Eutelsat KA-SAT geostationary satellite, so the service is available everywhere in Belgium — including in remote areas without DSL or fibre. Installation requires a satellite dish and a modem with line of sight to the southern sky.
