Broadband and Mobile Offers for Students
The Belgian telecom providers do not offer special mobile offers for students. However, Telenet does offer as only provider the possibility to combine a broadband subscription with a mobile subscription.
For 40€ a month you receive:
- Unlimited data (300 GB), texting and calling for mobile.
- Unlimited data, a download speed of 200 Mbps and an upload speed of 20 Mbps.
Conditions Student Internet Telenet
To be able to take out a student internet offer from Telenet, you need to meet the following conditions:
- You have to live in Flanders or in one of the following municipalities in Brussels:
- Brussels (1000)
- Anderlecht (1007)
- Laken (1020)
- Schaarbeek (1030)
- Etterbeek (1040)
- Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (1080)
- Koekelberg (1081)
- Sint-Agatha-Berchem (1082)
- Ganshoren (1083)
- Jette (1090)
- Haren (1130)
- Watermaal-Bosvoorde (1170)
- Vorst (1190)
- Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe (1200)
- Sint-Joost-ten-Node (1210)
- You have to be a student in a Belgian university.
- You have to have an official mail address from your university in Belgium.
Duration Student Internet Offer Telenet
The student internet offer of Telenet will be taken out for one year. However, as long as you meet the above-mentioned conditions, you can renew the contract. Once you are no longer a student or if you combine the broadband offer with a television or fixed phone subscription, you will start paying the normal tariffs.
Telenet will contact you every year with a reminder to renew your contract. Renewing your student internet offer of Telenet can be done in a shop of Telenet or online.

To be able to take out a student internet offer from Proximus, you need to meet the following conditions:
- You have to be a student in a Belgian university.
- You have to have a valid student pass from your university in Belgium.

The student internet offer of Proximus will be taken out for one year. However, as long as you meet the above-mentioned conditions, you can renew the contract. Once you are no longer a student or if you combine the broadband offer with a television or fixed phone subscription, you will start paying the normal tariffs.
Proximus will contact you every year with a reminder to renew your contract. Renewing your student internet offer of Proximus can be done in a shop of Proximus or online. You can renew your contract a maximum of three times.
